Evan Stockton is a fixture on the Detroit sports broadcasting scene, having been nominated for multiple statewide Emmy Awards as the voice of the MHSAA Football and Basketball Finals on Bally/FanDuel Sports Network Detroit. He won the NATAS Michigan Emmy in 2023 and 2024 for Sports Play-by-Play.
He is currently the TV voice of the Motor City Cruise (G-League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons), Western Michigan athletics on the ESPN family of networks and the MHSAA Football and Basketball Finals. He spent half a decade working at the Triple-A level of Minor League Baseball with the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals affiliate) and the Syracuse Mets (New York Mets affiliate). Evan's other roles have included serving as the voice of the Big East Baseball and Softball Tournaments on FOX Sports and the women's Battle 4 Atlantis basketball tournament on FloHoops. His work has been featured on Big Ten Network, ACC Network and ESPN Plus among other outlets.
He's been named one of the Top 30 Sportscasters Under the Age of 30 in America and one of the top play-by-play broadcasters in Detroit. He began calling Triple-A sports at just 20 years old and has since called games in the American Hockey League, International League and G League. Evan was named the top collegiate play-by-play broadcaster in America upon his graduation from Syracuse University in 2018 by the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America. ​
