Evan Stockton

Welcome! For as long as I can remember, I've loved sports and the connections they make across all races, ages, and backgrounds. As a sportscaster, I'm honored to play a small part in creating those connections and lasting memories for years to come.

You can find samples of my work below. I am currently the play-by-play broadcaster for the Syracuse Mets, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets. In the fall and winter, I serve as one of the TV voices of Western Michigan athletics, the Motor City Cruise (G-League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons) and the MHSAA Football and Basketball Finals on Bally Sports Detroit. I also have experience with the Big Ten Network, ACC Network, ESPN Plus and more!

 

For my work, I've been named one of the Top 30 Sportscasters Under the Age of 30 in America and one of the top play-by-play broadcasters in Detroit. I am the youngest broadcaster in all of Triple-A sports, having called games for the Mets, Cruise, Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals affiliate), and Rockford IceHogs (Chicago Blackhawks affiliate). I began calling Triple-A sports at just 20 years old and was awarded a Michigan Emmy in 2023 for my play-by-play work with Bally Sports Detroit.
